PC-based panic alarm software your IT team can deploy in an afternoon.
Silent-install MSIs generated with your configuration baked in. Central management from one lightweight server app. RDS, Mac and mixed fleets on the same local alert path.
The server is an app, not a box.
Any always-on Windows PC. No rack, no VM, no dedicated hardware. Restarts with Windows. If it ever goes down, every client turns grey and auto-reconnects, visible failure, never silent.
Configure once. Every client follows.
Build your configuration on the server, locations, responders, escalation, and it generates client MSIs with everything baked in. Later changes push from the server. No per-machine config, no drift.
Deploy from the tools you already run.
GPO, Intune, or your RMM, we deploy via NinjaOne ourselves.
msiexec /i DuressAlertClient.msi /qn Config is baked into the MSI, and every setting can also be passed as an MSI property for fully scripted rollouts.
Network footprint
| Path | Scope | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Client ↔ server | LAN only | Your local network only, default TCP 8001 (configurable). By default, clients talk only to your server. |
| Server → cloud | Outbound HTTPS | Duress Alert API, licensing and reporting only. |
The server sets Windows Firewall rules automatically where permitted and reports status.
RDS and mixed fleets
Published desktops and thin clients get per-user buttons, certified on Windows Server 2025. Mac clients (provisioning bundle prepared by the server) join the same alert path. Escalation hooks: webhooks to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat; SMTP / Microsoft 365 / Gmail.
